Good reminder that they have to be real careful not to make a mistake trade like this again.. with their plethora of prospects they’re bound to make a big trade..
Seeing as how CY was in this lopsided trade and Daniel’s was his “mentor” surely this can be avoided??

Was thinking about when we traded Adrian Gonzales off because I was thinking about Chris Young now our GM. It crushed my sons to trade Young off because in his first start we were sitting next to his dad. What a terrible trade that was,

On Jan. 6, 2006, the Rangers traded Adrián González, Terrmel Sledge and Chris Young to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Adam Eaton, Akinori Otsuka and Billy Killian. And with that, González's short time with the Rangers was done.

Yeah, I have been thinking about that trade a lot lately. Hoping someone like Foscue, Duran, or Smith is not the next Adrian Gonzalez that we trade away.
