Relievers very often get burned their 2nd time through the lineup or as they tire. That’s exactly what happened today. It took the Rangers hitters a few innings to get their timing on Soriano and figure out his stuff, but once they did, you saw why Soriano isn’t a starter capable of going 7 innings.
