I thought Hedges did a great job blocking wild pitches. Huff will be going down.
When Heim gets back will we keep three catchers? If not, who goes where? Hate to see Hedges go down and Garver is not likely to so what you say.

I would think Hedges would be DFAed when Heim is healthy. Unless he can come down with an injury long enough for rosters to be expanded in September.

If Jonah returns in any capacty....I dont think he catches often and only bats from the left side, so maybe he DH's with Garver and Hedges splitting catching duties and Huff going down

I think they like Hedges. They did not trade to DFA him. And he started today not Huff.
Huff is AAA bound and yes doubt if Jonah is back full strength immediately

Even if Huff goes to AAA, at some point when Jonah can catch we still have three catchers on the roster. Will we carry them all?

I think we do for this year with one in AAA

Being at the game I was livid that he was in there.

After 4 well pitched games nobody pitched well for us in this game.

He was terrible especially towards the end. We should have had the bases loaded with 0 outs and an additional walk to drive in a run.

I was a little surprised Gray was yanked when he was. He seemed to be in a groove and his pitch count wasn’t high. It almost cost us similarly to when Heaney was pulled with a little over 70 pitches under his belt a couple starts ago. Bochy knows better than me though.
