Looks like Zak Kent started off right where he left off last year, in his first game back with Round Rock.
Really stinks to see Winn’s stat line, though. He held such promise once upon a time. I really hope Owen White doesn’t follow the same path.

And that was actually a better night for Winn than usual.

I would think Hedges would be DFAed when Heim is healthy. Unless he can come down with an injury long enough for rosters to be expanded in September.
I don't expect Heim back until early September if he comes back at all. Huff will go down if he comes back earlier.

Just when I thought Seattle was out of it about 3 weeks ago they have come roaring back.

And they traded their closer. An abundance of pitching wealth at that position

A lot of season left

Odd thing is that Castillo who may be their best pitcher did terrible the other night and Seattle still won. Much like our game yesterday.

From Shawn McFarland:

Seager — who is recovering from a right thumb sprain — is out of the Texas Rangers’ lineup on Sunday vs. Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins, and per manager Bruce Bochy, it’s a bit more than just a regular rest day.

Bochy said that Seager’s thumb injury will get aggravated once in a while, according to the team’s medical staff, and that they’ll classify him as “day-to-day” because of that.

“It’s going to flare up a bit at times,” Bochy said of Seager’s thumb injury. “Could he play? Yeah, he could play, but we’re going to try and keep this thing under control.”
