You would think that someone else could pick up the slack but no one has to this point which I think is very odd. It's Langford, Smith, Seager and some from Jung and Heim. Tavares is what he has been.I am not certain our injuries are that uncommon. I think an offense needs to be good enough to keep plugging along with only one injured guy. If we went from scoring 4 to 6 runs most nights to scoring 3 or 4 when a hitter was hurt that would be one thing. It is another thing when you are scoring 1 or nothing a lot of the time. I remember when Kinsler and Cruz and Hamilton seemed to be banged up a lot and yet we still didn't fall completely flat.
I remember when Seager went down the previous 2 years the team didn't fall off much like this year's.
Looks like Semian has regressed more than expected. Pederson has been a bust. Garcia has regressed and Burger had to be demoted.
In a nutshell there seems to be too much regression from 3 or 4 guys that I didn't see coming.
