Didn't see it but that is irrelevant. I am sure he was glad for what Santana did for the team. Or would you want a guy that was happy they PH for him. I know I don't.Guzman looked kinda mad.

I don't think they are down as much as they are tired of you going on and on about Odor. If Odor does something well it is because it was against lousy pitching. I like both of those guys but Forsythe is 32 years old. I like what he has done so far but not sure if he helps us down the road. Santana has for some reason never be an everyday player for any team except his 1st year. So that is not just a Ranger thing. To be honest I hope all 3 play great!
True. Technically they are filling in the gap for the time being. Well, Choo was supposed to be a part of something better before this.Anyone 32 and over is a question in a rebuild year or two. Forsythe, Choo, Mathis and Cabrera are all good players but don't fit our future and at some point changes are coming.
Sorry to hear that DT. Hope your condition improves. When you stop and think about it, we have lot of positions to fill. (future positions) Idk if IKF will suffice at catcher or not. 3RD is open as is some of the OF. OF is undecided imo as long as Choo is on the team. SS is solid with Elvis but who knows what is in store at 2B. IKF could fit in nicely as UIF if he does not lock catcher down and possibly play SS and move Elvis to 3RD.
Just some thought to mull over while I sit in traction. Your thoughts and ideas. I need something to do in my present condition.
Santana is pretty dogshit against LHPs too, actually worse than Guzman, just glad it worked out
Yeah DDJ didn't have a very accurate arm either, probably because he was always trying to overcompensate for his lack of arm strength
So the Rangers are sitting their hottest hitter 2 days in a row. But they keep putting their worst hitter in the lineup everyday.
Garrett has over a 8 era. He's just bad as Gomez and Dowdy.
The big stink gets special treatment. I wish the rangers could look at things in a fair and objective way, but it looks like they assign “winners and losers” in regard to playing time before the season begins and stick to that plan no matter what, regardless of actual results on the field.
It’s very frustrating, but hey nothing we can do about it.
I’m assuming that woodward isn’t really that stupid. It’s probably one of 2 things, either the front office is meddling in the doling out of playing time or Woodward feels like he’s the “new guy” and he doesn’t want to rock the boat this first year by making whole sale changes.
I’ve always thought in regard to playing time that the best player should play regardless of contract status, the only exceptions should be made for legendary veterans or guys who have been with us forever. Guys like beltre or Michael Young.
No doubt the best player would be playing if we were in serious contention. Since we're not, FO will honor the contract in spite of them selves.
Let it go. Nothing to gain here. The front office seems arrogant to me. I think he’d be playing even if we were in a pennant race because they don’t want to admit a mistake.
Doubling down on a mistake isn’t something intelligent people do tho.
Hope this means Kelly got a negative lab report
