Howard pitched in 3 games this season. Once in June and twice in July. Don't think Bochy or CY put any faith in him.

Sometimes when you have employees there will be one or two that just never pan out but you think you see something in them and continue to hope they turn it around. In the case of Howard and Sborz they made decisions and found themselves in a death spiral

One name to no forget about for the pen next year is Brett Martin. They kept him this past offseason before DLing him in ST. They must like him a lot.

Yeah I am only trying to sign Stratton. Bradford under our control(Keeping him)Not resigning Chapman, Burke, Smith, Perez(will want to be a starter somewhere) and Sborz.
Leclerc still under contract.
I see at least 4 or 5 replacements

This is the same front office that went to John King time after time after time and he was terrible. So not a lot of faith in any bullpen decisions they make.

Based on his injury he could always do that. Can he hit? Let me know when he starts taking batting practice. Losing a CY candidate and ROY winner for sure and an All Star catcher for a time who is just now getting close to 100% was a kick in the gut.

Stratton has been good for us, but I am not married to signing him. If we do, that's fine. As long as we get enough quality guys, I am fine.
