probably but in 50 games we would still need to clear multiple spots on the 40 to cover Corneil, Coleman, Winn & Carter. might as well clear the deadweight now

I believe all of those guys are out for the duration so they just have to be added back in the early part of the offseason. Mid-November, if my memory serves me. We will have several free agents so it will be easier then.

We may see others as dead weight, but I would imagine the front office sees them as the best to use if they get desperate.
