Anyone else catch the Michael Young interview on The Hardline?

When asked about the heat he said the Rangers "unequivocally lost free agents because of it" and that he was putting that as nicely as he could.

Also mentioned that when they acquired Cliff Lee he sent Cliff a welcome to the club text and Cliffs first words were, "****, it's going to be hot"...

Said the new stadium with a roof with help level the playing field. Let's hope he's right

Isn’t this a bit knee jerky? Way too early.

Don’t people remember how terrible he was at the plate earlier this year. I was thinking he should get his next shot in spring training. He looked totally overmatched up here.

Why wouldn't they want to do that? We are not going to the playoffs so what is the point of him sitting out the end of the season when the minor league season is over. We NEED for this guy to succeed at the MLB level. Playing him now does not hurt anything other than we might finish 6 games under 500 instead of 3 or something made up like that.

You can't tell much of anything by ST. They really need to know some things going into the offseason anyway.

I wonder if they have any interest in Wisdom at 3B this next month. They would have to roster him which could entail some issues if they drop him again. Maybe better to sign him as a MILB FA this winter?

I would love to see him and it is true it will cost but not to worry JD and the owners won't do a thing in that direction. look at the list of available 3b FA's ranked by quality and JD will sign one close to the bottom of the list and talk about how well he fits the Rangers plans for 2020 and how excited the Rangers to have them

Because despite him doing poorly earlier third year in MLB, he has done well in AAA the remainder of the year but he is not currently rostered which makes things tricky
