Agree. Solak should be getting the majority of starts there. I do not see Odor ever being a UIF. As far as I am concerned IKF fits that bill. Last year he was unbelievable in the IF. Let Santana give it a go at 3b. We can only have so many deficiencies for a return of offense and that would go to Santana and Calhoun. I do not like Forsythe's defense so we need Guzman to keep going in the right direction or someone else like a Solak that we do not know of right now. But I do not like anyone on the roster now at 1b.
I’m sure JD will make it his mission this off season to trade Odor regardless of how much we have to pay his salary. Good luck to him there. Now obviously

Per TR S article.

Looming over all of this is Odor's contract: He's still signed for three more seasons and for $37 million.

“That’s beyond my control,” Woodward said. “I can just decide whether I can play him or not. Contract-wise, that’s not up to me.”

I can actually see him sticking to his guns on this at season end. Glad he is getting Solak in there most of the time but I think Odor is feeling footsteps.

Those pitches to Solak were ridiculous. The pitches to Odor and Forsythe were nice and fat. That is when you are in Solak's position you are like how in the world did the guy make 3 lucky pitches like that?

Santana 1 for his last 29. Choo batting.190 in his last 21 AB's.

Leclerc still cant get it done on back to back nights, at least hopefully they won't think he's the closer for the future but oh yeah they already signed him for that, for multiple years. Seems they jumped the gun on another contract after one good year.

They are afraid of how much it will cost to keep these guys when they are fully proven so they sign them to extensions too early. They are too cheap for their own good.

Teams have figured out Santana. Now we will see if he can make adjustments.

Solak keeps getting it done.
