Looks like we will end April with Adolis and Josh Smith finishing as the top two Rangers in OPS. Smith finishes first in average at .317, some 25 points higher than second place finisher, Adolis Garcia.

That is probably true and I have always liked the guy as a person so I am glad he is doing well. We have a lot of guys right now who are playing everyday and they are doing terrible. That is not a cure all. Just maybe he has figured it out. It took a Cruz a long time. He would do well in the minors and get called up and struggle. That went on and on and then all of a sudden it was like a lightbulb came on.

Those kind of guys are teachable and are smart enough to figure some things out on their own. He does seem like a good guy and his wife seems like a good young lady as well. It is really easy to be optimistic in his case. Hopefully, he continues to have success.

Me too. I always liked the video that his wife and he had when Josh was being called up to either AAA or MLB.

I agree. One knock on him even at the minor league level was he didn't hit the ball with authority. Not so this year.
