No, incentives are not included. So that would allow them $6 million of wiggle room if Mahle makes all of his incentives.

According to MLBTR he has these incentives:

"He gets an extra $500K for getting to 100 innings, $1MM each at 110, 120 and 130 innings, then $1.5MM at 140 innings."

We all know the Rangers history of pitchers not staying healthy all year so I am not sure if he makes the last one. For now, you have to assume he will, but who knows.

If someone from the minors wins a spot in the pen, or when Sborz comes back, and when a starter goes to the pen, the Rangers could decide to trade a current bullpen arm ot two and create more salary space. That would be the case if they decide to sign Robertson as well.

Yes with Leody but Dunning money still will be on books

If Haggerty does well tonight, I wonder if that will start the Rangers thinking about choosing him over Pillar. I believe he has better splits against lefties than Pillar does, and he can play 2B and even 1B and 3B in an emergency.

With that soft lineup, I would be surprised if they score 3 unless Freeland just stinks it up.
Duran, Higgy, Haggerty and Semien (especially Marcus) all in the lineup at once, doesn't blow my skirt up much

I couldn't tell by the replay where exactly he got hit but since no action has been taken I'm assuming it wasn't wrist/hand...

Winn isn't the only one but they do really need to see if he has really gotten his stuff together, he does have a lot of walks so you have to wonder how much he's nibbling???
