You can say that about anyone, 9 of LeClerc's runs allowed (14) have come in 4 appearances (3, 2, 2, 2)
It seems like, and I could be wrong, but it seems like Leclerc is fine when the game is well in hand, one way or the other, when he comes in, but that when the situation is more stressful, he struggles.

Latest on Eovaldi: I'm hearing the bullpen went well in SF. Another one scheduled for today or tomorrow. If all goes well he should throw live BP next week and return to the mound sometime during the first week of Sept . Fingers crossed. A healthy Eovaldi down the stretch may be the key to holding off the Astros.
Think they’ll have him throw at least 1 rehab assignment at Frisco while the team is in Minnesota or at the Mets. And if everything goes well have him start at home against the Twins during September 1-3 home stand

And I think the Rangers go with a six-man rotation from that start to the end of the season

He can’t seem to realize that the other teams know he’s never seen a low slider he won’t swing at and nothing the Rangers manager, hitting coach or every fan in the stands do can stop him.

The other day when he had 3 hits he was specifically targeting the low outside pitch and did well with them. Yesterday it seemed as if they were going high in the zone on him and that frustrated him, along with a few questionable calls from the umpire...

Same could be said of Sborz, LeClerc's problem is walks and Sborz's problem is hits
LeClerc allows more hits than Sborz. Sborz has been objectively the better pitcher.

Sborz - 2.97 FIP / 0.96 WHIP / 6.0 hits per 9/ 4.46 k to walk / 0.8 HR per 9

LeClerc - 4.18 FIP / 1.21 WHIP / 6.4 hits per 9 / 2.11 k to walk / 1.0 HR per 9

I am not a fan of a 6 man rotation just because you are not putting out there what you think is your best 5 but it depends on how quick Eovaldi is back up to speed. Good thing is we have time to see if Gray or Heaney pitch with any consistency. Then we can decide who goes to the pen. That would also reduce Heaney's chance to get the money that really is not deserving of his pitching results if it was him going to the pen.

I think with the schedule laid out the way it is that a 6-man rotation ensures the starters get max rest and it also makes sure that we’re set up perfectly when the playoffs start

We certainly don't want to pay him $20 million next year.

If Eovaldi doesn’t come back Heaney will see 8 to 10 starts and only needs 35.2 innings. And if Eovaldi comes back and we go to a 6-man rotation, Heaney would see 7 to 8 starts. Either way he should easily get those 35.2 innings unless you have some solution

Bring Perez up and Heaney to the pen.

Heaney is better than Perez but let’s sacrifice that to save $6M. Sorry not trying to be saracastic but I would rather win. And the Players Association would file a grievance

Astros and Marlins tied because 2 Marlins outfielders ran over each other

That solution has been mentioned a few times before. You put him in the bullpen.

I just posted the same thing
Yeah, I believe the idea came up as early as May.

But, I wouldn't put him there until Eovaldi comes back.
