How does an offense as good as ours do so bad against a very mediocre pitcher like Detmers? That is at least the 3rd time we have scored 0 runs for Gray.

The same 4 guys are carrying this offense on most nights- Semien, Seager, Garver, and JP Martinez. We need at least 1 or 2 more to get it together. Seager can’t provide 5 RBI every game.

I’ll say it again- we simply CANNOT have Duran, Grossman, and Taveras all in the lineup on the same night. At least one if not two of those guys need to be on the bench every game.

We need a 3rd baseman first. Garver/Heim DH and JPM.

And now a good Brewers team is headed here after getting swept by the Dodgers. And I think Heaney is up next. Not good. Especially when our offense looks like a JV high school team at least once a week now.

Guys, we don't have the bench we need. Smith for Duran gains nothing. JP for Leody is a improvement but nobody left for Ski. DH is either Heim or Garver.

Needed another bat at the deadline. Didn't get one. It's a problem. Pitching has been very good last 3 weeks. We've also been shut out 3 times in that same time.
