This has been fun so far. Enjoy it while we can. We have managed to overcome some adversity so far. It would be nice to have Jung back for the playoffs but we have guys who have picked up the slack for Seager early in the year, Heim, Jung and a number of pitchers.

I went to a lot of games in 1999 and Rafael P had a tremendous eye for the baseball.
Without looking at stats he was doubles machine and many of his mine drives went out of the park.

This was a pure talent and the way his frame was built and history he was far from the muscle build up that was Barry Bonds

I saw where Ricky Vanasco is doing really well pitching in relief in AA.

Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi simulated three innings Tuesday in a bullpen session that will determine his next steps as he returns from discomfort near his elbow.

He said all of his pitches felt good coming out of his hand and had good shape. Most importantly, he said that the injury that put him on the injured list last month is no longer an issue.

As for his next step, he wasn’t sure. Bochy said that it was to be discussed Tuesday after batting practice. Ideally, Eovaldi said, he would not go on a rehab assignment and could build up in games with a starter who has been displaced from the rotation piggybacking behind him.

However, there is no target date for his return

I would like to see Eovaldi get at least one rehab start. Maybe two.

Wilson also wondered if JPM was on the verge of replacing Taveras in CF.

I would think that at least 1 would be prudent

I would think that JPM or Jankowski in CF makes sense for at least 3 to 5 games

Would like to see them slow-play his return and just try to get him maybe 2-3 big league starts before the playoffs
