Hearn used for mop up again but he looks pretty off with his stuff. The HR was grooved in there. He ha s the velo and a decent breaker but his placement is off and wish his FB was a little more dominating.
He might be sent down. Could see him included in a trade

Maybe he is no r ready now but Josh Smith looks like an ideal leadoff hitter to me

I'm on base with you. Lead off is something to consider too. Simien is not producing but who is any better to LO.

I guess it could have been worse... a minor league team threw a no-hitter today but lost 7-5. They gave up 7 in the 9th on walks, errors, and HBPs.

I'm on base with you. Lead off is something to consider too. Simien is not producing but who is any better to LO.

If you believe Josh Smith is a starter for the future then you lead him off. Otherwise you really don’t have a pure one unless Bubba can start and get on base
Bet he starts tomorrow but I bet he is heading to AAA before long when Leody comes back

Yep. With Otto hurt and both Ragans and Dunning retrofitted to be relievers he could be the first option. If Winn gets hot he would be here first, but I am not holding my breath for that.

We are lucky Bradford wasn't taken in Rule 5 like Englert. Both should have been protected.

It may be Duran sent down for all I know. He needs regular daily ABs.
