Perfect example there by Semien. 3-1 count and he takes a strike. Way too passive.

Evan Carter had 2 of their 4 hits. He’s the only one excused from that complete sham of an effort.

The rest deserves to be fined their game check for failing to show up

Corey Seager also lost the batting title with his pathetic 0-4.

Semien, Seager, and Garver were a combined 0 for 12 in a division-deciding game. Big time players step up in big moments. Our top 2 were a disgrace.

We’re way past “struggling a bit”, Bruce. Shut out twice in a four game playoffs-deciding series is not merely struggling. That is completely clueless and lost at the plate.

I’m glad the Rangers got into the playoffs. But I just don’t see them getting past the Rays. Hell they couldn’t past the Mariners who had nothing to play for. And the Mariners shut them out twice in this series.

I’m interested in what do with the bullpen. Every time someone asked about the bullpen this season, CY said he was happy with what he had in the bullpen. I definitely don’t want to see Chapmen or Smith back.
