can someone Explain why smith was recalled instead of Duran?

I think he is an ideal
Lead off guy who can play multiple positions
Evidently new placeholder for JUng. Will see what happens with Ibanez once Miller is ready

Just going to say I like this Josh Smith kid a lot. I suspect he will bring a lot of energy to the club. He plays the game with joy. Best case scenario for me is an on base machine with some pop.
He is not the big so that is a concern.
If he plays daily at multiple positions that would be a near case scenario IMO. Maybe his baseball IQ is off the charts
Will be good to see how he handles the MLB level. They are YouTubers and his wife is a gem
