if you were happy with the pitching performance yesterday then we didn't see the same thing and tack on the poor defense, and it was a game in doubt from the 1st pitch in the bottom of the 1st

okay. we really need to shore up the defense. Ibanez and Culberson need to be gone. Ibanez alone could have had at least 3 maybe 4 errors yesterday and Culberson looked out of place in left and could have had 2 errors in left and that throw at the end was embarrassing

E white, Culberson and Ibanez could be sent down in favor of Taveras, Duran and Thompson. Once the 14th pitcher has to be dropped (June 19th) call up another player like Smith, Foscue or Reks

i think i would start with Smith, Wendzel or Harris & either Taveras or Thompson. Wendzel isn't killing it at the plate but at least he's a 3rd baseman Smith and Taveras or Thompson give us good outfielders

Well I was thinking Duran could play 3B.
Taveras/Thompson could split time in LF & CF and also be pinch runners later in the game or pinch hit for Miller if he starts in LF and they bring in a lefty later on.

That’s what I’m saying. All he’s done is hit every year at every level. He definitely deserves a chance IMO. Seems like the kind of bat we would want.
