The plate discipline has been better. He's just not seeing the ball. Remember nelly went through this last year and absolutely carried us through the ALCS.

I don't know how he can't move him down in the lineup. Just to take some pressure off or something. I know in 2010 josh went thru one of these spells early on and he put him to 5th in the order and it helped him. However, I don't think he was this bad then. He really looks like a below avg hitter right now.

I recommend Wash kick Josh in the balls every time he strikes out. Because as a fan that is what it feels like Josh does to me.

Good game from Holland. Take away a couple of meatballs he threw over the middle of the plate and you have a two run lead right now.

I hate when people say something like this. What do you mean what do u want wash to do about it? He's the manager, that's his job....to find things that work and make a change if necessary. I mean, whatever he does can't make josh any worse.

I know about the whole righty to righty thing, but did Ross piss of Wash or something? Has he pitched recently and I just forgot about it? Seems like he hasn't been in many games since the AS break.

I think wash knows he's used the hell out of Ross due to injuries to ogando and Uehara and now that ogando is healthy he's taking the opportunity to give him a break.

I think wash knows he's used the hell out of Ross due to injuries to ogando and Uehara and now that ogando is healthy he's taking the opportunity to give him a break.

Yeah, Ross' innings are way up there. He was cleaning up for me in the roto league, missing his low WHIP and the helpful 1I to lower the ERA.

Even the HR pitch to Middlebrooks wasn't a bad pitch it was on the inner edge of the strike zone, that would jam a lot of hitters, Middlebrooks just put a good swing on it
