Evan Grant is loaded with trivia this evening.

The Rangers have now played 30+ innings this year and have led in exactly 3 of them.

Fact #2 - Rangers starters have yet to make it through 6 innings this year thru first 4 games - First time since they moved to Texas. That's a bit shocking given some of the pitching staffs we had over the years!

I don't think that's on Wash either. There's no way that Wash fired Jackie Moore, based on Wash n JMs hug chemistry and Jackies' unkind parting words, which leads me to think that JD has final day on coaching staff.

I agree that coaching decisions are jds. But I'm pretty sure it's wash's call on which of his coaches double duty as base coaches and at which base, because Pettis is the outfield coach and used to also be first base coach. Pretty safe to say it was primarily wash's call on Pettis going to third

I almost can't blame the defense when they have to stand on the field and watch the dumpster fire that is Saunders on the mound. Regardless they are paid to do a job too.

Pettis does bring other good qualities to the team. He's a very good outfield coach. He's done a great job with just about every center fielder we've had mechanics wise. I think he has a pretty big input to on base running..... Hmmm..... Base running...... Maybe he shouldn't put that on his resume either. All though, he's done a good job with helping with the base stealing aspect.
