i agree w the premise but the results say you aren't going to get many innings and it is hard to get the rest of the guys really pumped to go play behind that guy. Martinez for a couple more starts would have at least been something for guys to rally behind

He is a starter and that means a loss. Nick needs another start in place of Saunders.

I'm not on team Saunders, just playing devils advocate. To be fair, it was only one start and he probably would have pitched more if he didn't get that line drive off the foot.

Id be in favor of a pitcher with actual upside getting those innings than Saunders, but I don't make those decisions yet.

any new word on when Harrison and Cobra are expected to be ready to come back? I was thinking Harry was less than 2 weeks away. If that was the case, I would have liked to see the kid stay up, but I think the Rangers took the safe route of keeping Saunders to make sure they didn't lose any pitchers. Pretty good chance of losing Saunders if they optioned him right?

Nobody wants Saunders.

I think Texas has until 4/10 to bring Colby up or he can be a FA. Something like that
