Honestly, if Darvish continues the run he's on throughout September I would seriously consider making him the game 1 pitcher. He has the swing and miss stuff we need from a game one pitcher. That said, it would be hard not to give the ball to one of our guys with postseason experience. He would definitely be my game 2 pitcher at least.

Honestly, if Darvish continues the run he's on throughout September I would seriously consider making him the game 1 pitcher. He has the swing and miss stuff we need from a game one pitcher. Our would be 4 pitchers in a playoff series are starting to collectively look very decent. Think Yu has a legitimate shot at getting at a game one start. Derek has really showed some promise in his last 2 starts. Dempster seems to have come around and we just need to get Harry back into form. I think pushing back his start will do wonders.

The difference in Darvish the last three or so starts is he's pitching with his fastball instead of 3-4 breaking pitches and focusing on locating it and using it to set up his breaking stuff.
