I lived on Guam for two years in the military ... and there are advantages of being on the other side of the International Date Line. Our higher headquarters was back in the States ... and they never remembered that if they waited to call us on Friday to tell us to do something ... we were already in our weekend and not at work ... and when we came back to work on Monday it was always very quiet. They spent Monday getting back up to speed ... and then would call us on their Tuesday ... which was our Wednesday ... which means we only had to put up with them bugging us three days a week.

When I was in Afghanistan the time difference was a bitch. We never had much time for TV anyways but when we did, the Rangers were never on the armed forces network sports channel. Luckily enough, the two games I did manage to see all year were in the ALCS. Had to wake up in the middle of the night and walk a couple miles to watch it though. Totally worth it.

Thanks man, and unfortunately I didn't see game 6, I was out on mission. I did see Cliff Lee burn through NY's lineup though. I also saw CJ's start, game 1 I believe. I'm glad I'm back, I've watched most of their games this season except for the day games during the week.

Why doesn't Wash just sit Colby the rest of the way. This is his 4th straight bad start. He has no movement on his pitches. His velocity is down. He won't last 3 innings in a playoff game. He's just killing this team right now. He is our worst starter by far. You can almost pencil in 3 more losses the rest of the way due purely to Colby taking the mound.
