Rangers and Rockies for Two July 21-22

Calhoun is playing today. I thought they said he would miss the first part of the season.

Well, so much for my predictions in the other thread. I had Solak leading the team in batting average and getting the team ROY.

Things I took away from last night's game
1 very odd without fans
2 also strange was players wearing mask in the dugout
3 bull pen looked better than I expected
4 how deep the OF is
5 beauty of the stadium
6 how little interest in the game. ( hope more tonight)

Just glanced at the box scores of the spring baseball games and things I’m not surprised to see

1) Odor not doing well. He kicks ass in spring training, summer league, winter league, whatever but for some reason when the bright lights come on in the regular season the guy lives up to his name and stinks it up.

2) bullpen seems to have improved.

I am surprised that we haven’t been able to score on the Rockies triple A pitching staff. That doesn’t bode well at all.

can not see why the Rangers went with any of those 3 and passed on Allen, Law, Nicasio & Montero plus Rivera who can play 3B & SS made more sense than Refsynder IMO.

If only Guzman could hit. Then IKF to 2b, Frazier to 3rd and Guz at 1st.
May be at some time Elvis could move to 2b and IKF to SS. Food for thought. Oh yea! Odor on the next Mars flight. Just bored and tinkering

Refsnyder has pop in his bat much more than Rivera. Re Allen they would have to open up a roster spot and let a guy go
