I think Perez. I think the primary reason we're all judging Odor so harshly is b/c the front office screwed-the-pooch with the primature contract....Without the contract, he'd been sent down to AAA, or maybe even AA long before today IMO.

To me, Odor passed him by the end of the year last year for the biggest disappointment.

You just refuse to allow the facts to speak for themselves, and this my friend is why you catch so much grief, and so often here.

Odor is hitting above .260 over the past 25+ games, and that isn't terrible regardless of who we're talking about.

Since May 21st, Odor's last 25 games, its .253/.333/.368/.701, 1 HR, 8 RBIs

Same amount of time
Profar 26 games, .257/.342/.545/.887 and 6 HR & 21 RBIs
IKF 24 games .262/.354/.357/.711 and 0 HR & 9 RBIs

He's been better but still coming in 3rd

I think the Rangers are not concerned with trade value as far as Odor is concerned because they see him as a huge part of the franchise for many years to come. I just don't agree with that assessment.

Value as a player not trade piece for Odor. Now I think if we were able to get controllable SP for Profar that would pique interest

They ruined Profar''s trade value. It is better now than it was a few months ago, but still not much at all. They could get something for him, but not much. It will take almost until he is ready for free agency for his value to increase significantly and then the lack of control will hurt his trade value.

I do think they will eventually trade him though.
