They should put my boy Cabballero at lead off temporarily.

speedy - makes good contact and has a decent eye for base on balls. He is coming around.

Felix needs bumped down to 5-6. He is an unguided missile and needs reigned in.

his swing for the fences approach to every swing of every at bat is hurting the ball club.
Out of all the madness in this lineup how awesome and refreshing has Cabby been!?! Though another head scratcher that he still gets days off in place of Wong regularly. You literally have a young kid that is playing inspirational baseball and Servais will sit him following a multi-hit game. Mismanagement all over this lineup IMO. The players need to take responsibility of their shortcomings, but the skipper is supposed to put the best lineup together for success with the players he has on the roster; he is responsible for quite a few losses. We certainly have holes in this lineup but I don't think we are nearly as bad as we look night to night.

I meant to say Julio instead had Felix on my mind reading previous post

Cabballero is a gamer and plays his ass off and has enough balls to stand nose to nose with the opposing catcher who got mouthy with him a few games ago.

I like the kids style. And oh by the way now has the highest team batting avg !! Hitting over .300

Right now I half understand Dip Shitvais ( Dipoto and Servais going nuts to butts like usual ) the logic having him solely bat against LH pitching.
But I am so NOT a fan of SumTin WONG. Just something about his style of play - mannerisms - the way he carries himself around the other players and oh yea... his sub Mendoza line batting avg.

I've heard that there is some buzz around bringing H. Ford up this summer...

100% in jest but how long before someone mentions Julio’s struggles because he participated in the home run derby.

Going back to last night, I was really surprised they didn't pinch hit Murphy for Cal in the 9th with a lefty pitching. Cal looked lost hitting RH'd. Murphy has actually been hitting of late including a 2 run shot just now.

Jrod with an 0-4 night with 3 bad strikeouts and a meh fly ball. Getting close to dropping below .200.

Time to move him off the leadoff role for a bit? lol sheesh.

He hit .206 last March/April. So let us hope he is a reeeeeeal slow starter. I see him pulling trying to hit 600 ft shots while almost falling down. He needs to go back to stepping into the pitches and let his bat do the work and not his body.
