No, I knew none of this.

Seriously re-thinking my 2 decade long hatred of the guy now. LOL

yeah, the drum set was awesome. he had no idea it was coming. neil signed it along with drum sticks, etc.

apparently randy can jam. but yeah, it was a thing with rush. they met when he was in montreal. he and geddy are very good friends.

Randy Johnson captures Rush live in concert

Lee is a passionate baseball fan and avid memorabilia collector. His personal collection, in Johnson's estimation, is as impressive as any you'll find outside of Cooperstown. Lee's memorabilia room is filled with hundreds of autographed baseballs (including Cy Young, Walter Johnson and Christy Mathewson) and bats used by historic players (featuring one used by Shoeless Joe Jackson), as well as books, programs and other items that tell the story of baseball history.

Maybe Kershaw at his peak, but careers aren't close right now. Johnson.

Kershaw is amazing. No question. But he doesn’t thrive in big-game moments.

Johnson is arguably the greatest lefty of all time. AND he thrived in big-games.

It isn’t a clear win for the Unit, but at this point, I think it is Johnson.

Yeah, I'd take either one compared to anything the Rangers have ever had but I'd take Johnson first.

Absolutely Randy Johnson. Moose, I know you said you gleaned this poll from elsewhere, but to me, its an absurd comparison. Johnson is a legend, kershaw is (so far) an overly-accomplished paper champion who gets penis shrinkage on the big stage

Unit.

Only two pitchers of my lifetime I'd consider over him are Pedro and Maddux.

Kershaws story is nowhere near over though. He has a chance to change his postseason history. And I think he will. Sale, not so much.

Are you talking about now or in the past? If you are talking about the past, I would rather have Kershaw.
I am talking generally in the broadest of scopes. Usually that means career/better-player

I didn't feel like making the poll so dense that it just gets in the way of actual discussion for things like peak, situation, etc.

Well then I would have to say Randy.

of course, he's also the superior photographer. he followed Rush for a tour as their official photographer.

I always liked Randy, now he may be my favorite ever. Good taste in music to start.

Easily Big Unit. And he did his damage in a hitters era pitching in hitters parks (Kingdome, Chase Field or whatever AZs stadium was called).
