My position hasn't changed on weed smoke, but it has somewhat change in reference to the NFL. My feeling is is career chart will mirror that of Josh Gordon's at best. It's conceivable that he never plays in the league again. Thanks Jerry another 2nd round draft down the drain. Let me lead the march in the 2017 draft in selecting the stud DE out of Texas A&M. lets use that 2nd round pick on something more productive instead of project/risk players. It's gonna take a huge bounty to get him. Especially if we win more than 8 games. Our 2nd rounder is 1 piece in the trade needed to land him.

I'd cut McClain and would have done so a month ago. He doesn't even want to play. Yes we are weak in the middle, but he should never be allowed on the field for this team again. I give Gregory one more shot. a lot of mental issues there too for him to get under control and he is still young enough that we can see if there is any hope. In a weird way getting both suspensions concurrently makes me give him a little more rope than if he got the 4 games this year and then followed up with the 10 games next year. I get that doesn't really make sense to anyone that disagrees, but it just does...

Yes, cut McClain. Should have happened the minute he didn't report for camp. He wasn't just caught smoking weed, he was on that "drank" too. McClain hasn't changed a bit, next time he runs out of money he will get his act together for a little while so he can get paid - just like he did here in Dallas. Time to move on.

Gregory is a young guy who has issues, and was busted for smoking pot - he deserves the suspension, but it's not the biggest deal in the world. He deserves another chance. He has been very sincere about his issues and wanting help since coming into the league, and I can't help but pull for a guy like that. But from here on out there needs to be a zero tolerance policy with Gregory, IMO.

I already count him gone wasted pick again by Jerry
I think McClain is on the roster still because the Cowboys are going opt to claw back some of this years signing bonus from him on Principle not because of the money

I'd like to think he was told he's not playing unless he gets his life in order. And all agreed it's best just to absorb the suspension now since he wasn't going to play anyway.

The Cowboys made a deal with the devil, and now he gets the second pick every year till he dies. Looking for that wildcat has cost us many games. Sean Lee is the only real hit and we know his history.
