I use to smoke like a chimney before I joined the Navy. I never smoked after that knowing what it would cost me if I did & the embarrassment it would be on me & my family if I got kicked out because of it. I was constantly still around people & family who smoked but it never enticed me once. it is more of the decision making that I cant understand with all these potential millionare athletes

der if they were saying the same thing in Denver over Miller? He failed multiple drug test. Hell we have guys in the league for vehicular man slaughter. I'm not cutting a guy for smoking weed. I'm not for smoking MJ, but I think the league has to change its discipline policy on this issue. Fine, forced rehab, Education, community service. Suspensions should be way down this list on this matter. I don't smoke never have, so I'm not a stoner at all. Just think its worse thinks a guy can do.

I agree smoking pot isn't a huge deal I think the issue is that he knows it is not allowed by the league, has been caught and is continuing to do it knowing full well it can get him suspended. If the league told me I couldn't wear jeans I wouldn't and I don't have a problem wearing jeans. So the problem we all have to wrap our heads around is at what point do we cut a guy that continues to put himself in a position that gets him suspended. If he misses 10 games and then a year that doesn't help the Cowboys.

I have 2 scenarios as an amateur wanna be GM I'd love to see play out for Dallas. One is that they land Bosa in round 1 and Dak Prescott in round 2. The other sees them trading down from 4, still landing a premium defensive talent like maybe Jack and either Elliott or Henry with the additional pick and still getting Prescott at the top of round 2(he won't be there in the 3rd)

been reading on several sites and most of the writers seem to think the Cowboys will not gamble on him re-injuring the back by rushing him back during TC. but just say it is my gut feeling right now.

but it will be the same for Romo to allow the collarbone to heal. both might see limited action in the last Pre-Season game

Gregory dropped his 10 game appeal, he now can't play until week 16. Hopefully he was advised to get his life in order and that's what he's doing.

Not that I'm defending Gregory's actions but his career is practically being ruined because of marijuana use, yet Hope Solo can beat family members and still get to go to the FIFA World Cup and the Olympics.

Different leagues, different public out cry, but I agree it should be closer to even.
Then again you can say NFL players can beat the shit out of others, and keep on playing, while Tanya Harding lost her career.
I have no interest in Soccer, so those story lines are just a blip on the radar for me.
