One thing we could do is like baseball with righty/lefty

Show an 11 man base D and nickle, and a base O and 3rd down unit.

No... I know I would have drafted differently knowing that we could have these extra sets. It's not too big of an issue, but the question was asked early and answered as though it was 11 and 11 with no extras.

Great idea. Maybe just show starters on offense and defense, and anyone can look at the remainder of bench to know what the sub packages are without listing them written out

No... I know I would have drafted differently knowing that we could have these extra sets. It's not too big of an issue, but the question was asked early and answered as though it was 11 and 11 with no extras.

I do tend to agree with this my only issue is if we have a set 11 on D and we use a base D 4-3-4 and we face a team that decides to go with 3 receivers and no FB we are at a disadvantage.

Remember we are still required to draft the required amount of position players, meaning just because we are now teamed up we cant just keep 5 offensive lineman and draft 6 running backs.

Exactly. If you don't want to show a nickle set, you should show a base offense. 3 wides equates to lefty righty in baseball
