Smart choice. No use wasting a shitload of billable hours on a trial you have no prayer of winning. Hope for some leniency and to get through it and have some life after.
Sad story all around. Someone killed and a kid's life goes down the shitter for one incredibly stupid decision and moment in time.

Donte Stallworth stills speaks about his mistake to teach others not to drink and drive.

Stallworth was extremely fortunate to only get 30 days in jail and a one year suspension from playing football but it is good that he speaks out about it and tries to help others avoid getting into that predicament. Most average citizens get significant prison time for this. We will see what Ruggs gets but I think it will be a good deal more because of the excessive speed and circumstances.

based on what I read, he pled guilty to two charges, each of which has a minimum sentence measured in years. IMO he's probably looking at about 5 years.

It's up to the Judge now, if the Judge throws the book at him, he can rescind his plea.

Five might be the right number, a short sentence brings out screams from the public, and no more votes for the judges next election, a long sentence sends the case to trial.

Dem sounds like fightin' words!!!
A little while back he called Bradberry trash. He’s one of like 5 or 6 of them who have thrown negative shit the Eagles way since the NFC Championship game.

Bradberry had one helluva season last year. All the trash talking isn't going to change things. The Eagles will undoubtedly be considered the team to beat in the NFC for '23, altho both SF and Dallas can at least offer a challenge. And I wouldn't count out Detroit either, altho they may still be a year off from claiming they belong with the big boys.

Not sure who it will be but history says the Super Bowl loser is not likely to get back. Obviously hoping they do but I think the division got better and the schedule got tougher.

The cool thing about history tho is the current year has nothing to do with the previous. You could have a consecutive history of 10 SB losers failing to return the following year......and the odds wouldn't change as to the 11th possibly returning. What will likely determine Philly's chances of a repeat to the big show more than any single factor will be how healthy they stay thruout the season. And my simplistic guess is no single player's health will matter more than Hurts. A roster filled with a ton of talent, but Hurts is the straw that stirs the drink.

Open question - Any new fans spotted so far this year and if so to which teams are they migrating? Basically I haven't seen a bandwagon effect yet this year. Maybe it's a bit early?
