I couldn't figure out how cutting "Chosen Anderson" could save a team $12M in cap space. I must have missed the name change...Life comes at you fast

damn that is a lot of 3rds!Niners got 7 compensatory picks. My squad only has 6 picks in the whole draft haha.
I'm guessing there must be some very big numbers late in the contract that he's not likely to get.Falcons signed RG Chris Lindstrom to a five-year, $105 million contract extension.
First reported by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Lindstrom will remain in Atlanta under what's being called a "mega extension". The Falcons made Lindstrom the 14th overall pick of the 2019 and will retain him through the 2028 season. A 2022 Pro Bowler and Second-team All-Pro, Lindstrom was set to play 2023 under his fifth-year rookie option

Honestly I didn't even know who the guy was. $20M per year for a G, (which isn't a position many value highly), seems a bit off the wall to me. I was surprised to hear Ramsey get $20M per year at CB. Maybe I shouldn't given how CBs are valued. Hard to imagine a team getting value for money at $20M for a G compared to an average starting G. On a 6 year deal only the 1st 3 years at most are going to be guaranteed. Sounds like the headline sucker-punched me.You think?

It's bat shit crazy and this signing may not make to top five jaw drop deals when FA is over.Honestly I didn't even know who the guy was. $20M per year for a G, (which isn't a position many value highly), seems a bit off the wall to me. Lindstrom's PFF grade was a gaudy 95.0 last year. He earned a big pay day but Im not sure that the Falcons are going to be winning games because of that contract.Honestly I didn't even know who the guy was. $20M per year for a G, (which isn't a position many value highly), seems a bit off the wall to me. I thought he would have fallen off already to be honest but dude is arguably still the best center in football. He blew a big protection in the Super Bowl. And a credit to him, the only reason I know that is because he owned it. On the only drive of the 2nd half when the Birds had to punt, Spags brought a 6 man pressure. He made the wrong line call and the edge LB came clean.Maybe he falls off a cliff. I'm not counting on it, because for as much of a loud mouth he is, the guy is a professional and keeps himself in great shape.
