You're correct. I thought that was a dumb signing by a team that always has to overpay for talent. But he's living up to that deal. At least after one year.
Smart move by him if his goal is to be a HC. If he is ever going to be considered for a HC job he needs to be seen as the guy responsible for a successful Offense instead of Reid or Mahomes.
