The fact he lasted this long in the NFL amazes me!

He's basically a meme and still stuck on a roster until now. He had real promise until forced into action with the Bills (and quickly proved that promise wrong).

An exchange of draft mistakes.

I think both were drafted based on like 2 good college games. They looked really good in those games but it seems like its really easy to make draft mistakes without having a lot of evidence that someone can actually play.

This is an initial 53-man roster decision based on Peterman not being subject to waivers and other teams being unlikely to want him. The Bears may later re-sign him, (or PJ Walker), unless they really like their UDFA rookie.

This needs to be posted on this board also:

The original Beastmode, lol. I remember watching a MNF game one time and he was running outside. When he turned upfield, the defender was right there, not sure but think it was a S or OLB. Earl lowered his shoulder and literally knocked the guy off his feet and back about 3 yards and just kept going. Dude was a wrecking ball.

Cardinals release QB Colt McCoy, leaving position in flux as regular season approaches
So now does this mean Murray will be back sooner than expected or has Bidwill sent down orders to tank? Seriously, wtf are the Cardinals doing at this point? Gonna either start a 5th rd rookie in Tune (likely choice, imo) or career 3rd stringer just acquired in Josh Dobbs. I feel bad for the fans at this point.
the folks in the greater Phoenix area can find something to do while the cards focus on the USC QB.

darn shame they can't package the current QB & owner to another sap organization.

McCoy was looking bad this preseason, so the Cards made a move away from him. He also was on a pitch count due to issues with his elbow earlier in camp. IMO, going with McCoy and his known limitations would've been more of a tank move than trying something different with Tune or Dobbs.

Yeah, kinda makes sense, I guess. My guess it will be Tune until Murray gets back. I can't see Dobbs being more than a clipboard holder at this point. The rest of the roster appears to be in full rebuild. Tough place to put the kid into. Kinda like the Texans last season with Davis Mills.
