Richardson isn’t fit to be an NFL starting QB. I think he’ll be terrible, and yes if they get the #1 pick in 2024 they’ll obviously draft Williams.

Yah especially if he shows a glimpse of promise. With the Hurts and others blueprint they won't give up after one year. I mean there have been many great QB's that had bad rookie seasons, many decent QB's that had great rookie years. You just never know.

Passing on Caleb Williams would be one of the most boneheaded moves ever - Richardson is trash and anyone who’s watched him knows he’s not good enough to be a franchise QB in the NFL, he wasn’t even any good in college. Williams on the other hand is one of the best QB prospects in a long time.

I don't think they'll be at the bottom anyway. Taylor's time left to get traded is getting short, and I doubt he sits out if there isn't a trade. They'll bring in someone if he does get dealt, either in the trade or FA. They are reportedly keeping an eye on Hunt and Fournette is still out there too. They'll have solid players around Richardson.

Pittman, Pierce, and Downs should be enough to work with at WR for Richardson to play his way out of getting replaced. Practically X, Y, Z archetypes right there. Should be a perfectly average offensive unit with someone like Hunt or Fournette.

The Bears defense was totally gutted last year and it still took the Texans getting an unlikely win last year for the Bears to get the #1 while having their QB. The Colts D looks functional. I'd be a little surprised if they were in play for the #1 pick.

I can see the Colts as a 6-8 win team and not really close to the Caleb Williams sweepstakes. Even with the moves the Texans have made, they still have a lot of holes, the Cards will be awful and they know it. And there's a handful of teams that could get hit by the injury bug to key players and be fucked. Colts might be around the 5-8 overall pick, imo.
