In Mahomes' 7 years, I believe Kelce led the team in targets 5 of those years and Hill 2 of those years. I suspect now we'll be a team that targets whoever stinks on the opposing defense just due to the Chiefs having some depth (in theory) at WR. Hollywood Brown has never had 100 targets in his career. I'm guessing either Worthy or Rice will be the #1 but both were thrown into the fire due to injuries so its hard to know exactly how the Chiefs see them when fully healthy. I see a lot of speed which makes me think a lot of the tough yards will be with the RBs and with the defense still being solid which makes me think Mahomes is going to settle into something like what Rodgers was doing in GB during his later years...although he won MVPs doing that Im not sure that will be the case with how many QBs that are in the league who I think will be pushing the envelope.

A healthy Rice was on pace to lead them in targets last year. Do they start right back with that offense?

The Chiefs rushing game will be interesting - it struggled much of last season and was a total non factor in the Super Bowl, but then again Pacheco was injured for over half the season.
A big factor here is that Joe Thuney was one of the best LGs in the game was kicked out to LT in the Super Bowl. Some for most of the season the Chiefs had 3 pro bowl level IOL and they could just plug in Kareem Hunt from off the street and it worked out well. On paper, my expectation would be that Pacheco will go back to being the #1 RB and the #2 RB would be Brashard Smith in the 'Jet Mckinnon' role that worked out really well while he was on the team. It would be weird for the Chiefs to roll with two 7th rounder RBs but in my mind thats how I'd do it.

Yeah - the Chiefs revamped their O-Line in the offseason and it will be interesting to see how it gels together. I agree Pacheco will be RB1, I’m not sure what impact Smith will make, and I wonder if Elijah Mitchell will make any impact, he was a decent RB for the Niners when healthy.

He was but Hollywood Brown also wasn't playing, either, and Worthy had no experience. I'd say its a legit WR battle. Rice probably should be the favorite but maybe also worth considering that if Royals plays well the guy he would steal reps from would be Rice and not Brown or Worthy, I'd imagine.

Am I crazy or is he a lot like Pacheco?

I don't envy fantasy football players right now.

Yeah he is somewhat similar to Pacheco in his style.

I’ve never played fantasy football and don’t care to, nothing against those who do but I’m interested in the games without having a fantasy team and I just enjoy the action without rooting for a team or player much of the time. I have no idea how fantasy football owners decide who to pick because it’s all about stats and who gets the most playing time.

Last part of your comment answered your own question. Pick based on the stats and PT. Matchup matters, of course.

Will say many think they are experts but luck plays a huge role.....I say this as someone who has won my league a number of times.
