Ok my peeps, who ya pickin'?

I'm really rooting for the Chiefs to win and get the Three-Peat, but I'm goin' with the Eagles.

Saquon and that filthy D too much for Mahomes and the gang.

Eagles, 35-20.

Chiefs get three FGs and are up 16-14.

Eagles get a TD with 3 minutes left and go for two: 22-16.

Chiefs get a quick FG to make it 22-19, get a stop, and then a Mahomesian final TD drive as time expires. Extra point makes it 26-22.

Official start of 2025 league year is March 12, 4pm.
Free Agency also begins that day
Draft day is Ap 24-26th
First game that counts, Thursday, Sept 4th

Personally, I think Free Agency should start the day after the Super Bowl. :)

Andy replied with BUNDLE-ROOSKIE-DOO
and that's another thorn in my side. All these dudes seem sot go to SHIT when they get a bunch of TV commercials going. I know it only takes like a day to a week to film a commercial, but damn it really seems like the more TV commercials NFL players do, the crappier they are the following seasons.

Remember all those Baker Mayfield appearances for progressive after his big season in Cleveland? Is it a time management thing? an ego thing?

Prob a bit of both, then you factor in the extra cash and perks from the deals also taking away time and attention

So long as it isnt moldy, i eat too many things past its expiration date. Canned soup i will even eat it up to a year past.

I draw the line with meat.

Did you go to Applebee's? My wife and went Saturday and I believe her steak was past it's use by date.
Don't even had a good excuse, i made it all at home. Wings were done through, but tried sweet baby rays Buffalo for the first time, I'm pinning it on that

Not Cuban anymore. He had nothing to do with this deal, and if he were still a controlling owner, he would've vetoed it.

This was all some kind of unfortunate power play by GM Nico Harrison.

No.

Nico was the fall guy of sorts. The owner didn’t want to resign Luka to a super max contract because he was worried about his conditioning/injury history.

He might be right about Luka’s future not being as bright as most assume. But the problem is that the rest of the league doesn’t view Luka that way and the Mavs could have gotten a lot more.

A deal like this doesn’t happen without the owner signing off, and even pushing it along.

Of course, the owners signed off on it. They probably didn't even know what they were signing off on.

The Mavs' "governor", Patrick Dumont, is the one who made the statements about Luka's conditioning.

I sure think the 345 million dollar contract had a lot to do with it, but they absolutely should've gotten a lot more.

Hell, Anthony "Mr. Glass" Davis played what, 2 games and he's already out for a month.

Not to mention the fact that the higher up totally underestimated how revered Luka is in Texas.

If Nico made this travesty of a deal because he was ordered to, he shouldn't be in this business.

More coming out that says ownership wasn’t going to offer Luka that contract no matter what.

Say what you will about that decision, but I don’t think Nico is the one to blame. He is working under a really bad directive.

And no superstar gets traded for anything close to equal value in the NBA
