Crazy that over the years they specifically made rules helping offensive players and making life much easier on offense than defense and passing offenses look like absolute shit and defense is dominating the game now.

Only two weeks in but the drop for passing yards is pretty extreme and it hasn't been this low since 1979. Like you said, rushing is taking over and it hasn't been this high since 1985.

check that out..league average for pass attempts through 2 weeks is 30.3 per game- Lamar did 41 and 34- in games where they trailed by less than 2 scores, or led the entire way-till the very end. Just dumb

Coaching staff needs to wake up. Surprising for a team led by Harbaugh

That almost makes sense that in a pass-happy era where theres been a focus on pass rushers, that maybe defenses paid less attention to run-stoppers.

I posted it last year as a tip and it still works this year in Yahoo leagues, might work on other sites so try it out if needed

Say you've got a person that's hurt week to week but their team hasn't put them on IR. You have to wait until they are given an "out" or "doubtful" designation before you can move them to your IR slot. Then Tuesday comes and the team changes their status back to "questionable" which means they aren't eligible for the IR slot and you'll have to drop someone on your roster if you want to make a waiver claim. So here's where the tip comes in;

Make your waiver claim BEFORE Tuesday. Monday, Sunday night, doesn't matter. If you put in a claim while the player is IR Slot eligible, Yahoo's system will process the claim even if they are later upgraded on Tuesday provided that you keep that player locked into your IR slot. Yahoo usually makes changes from "out" to "questionable" early Tuesday morning (like 4am), so if you make moves before then, you should be good. Been doing this a couple years and its very helpful when you got a player you know you need to keep on IR but need to make moves and you don't want to drop people.
ESPN changed their rules this year that if a player is on IR you can make claims and make any other changes to your team or lineup and just leave them on IR as long as they still have an injury designation. Even if it's questionable, it doesn't matter, if they have an injury designation at all you don't have to move them off of IR until they have no injury designation. Apparently they got too many complaints about this exact pain in the ass scenario.

And it will need to stay that way for awhile in order to get every team out of these damn two high safety looks that piss all over big plays in the passing game. The problem is that teams get stir crazy just going down the field five yards at a time and think they have to throw the ball so they do a play action pass and throw an incompletion on 1st and 10, run for five yards on 2nd and 10, which leaves them with a 3rd and 5 which inevitably leads to another pass. Or they have a holding call on an early down and that ends up killing the drive. It was much more exciting when everybody played single high man to man defense.

Between Caleab, Richardson, and Levis.. some of the DUMBEST INT's I've ever seen, all within the fires half of games this week. If that's all you've got, just hand it to the other team..smdh

The Gmen have ONE dude you can't let beat you. If someone else does, kudos to them, but you cannot let Nabors beat you, and he's killing the Brownies

Watching the Vikings/Texans game, Diggs seems to getting in his teammates faces on the sidelines, especially Stroud's.

Announcers admiring his "leadership".

I dunno, remember that old Reggie Jackson saying about stirring the pot wrong?

That's exactly how it should be done. "Out" and "Doubtful" should allow you to put someone on IR and then once on IR, any designation should allow you to keep them on it until they are fully cleared.

Munson thinks he can be the straw that stirs the drink, but he can only stir it bad."

He denies the 'context' of this quote.. for whatever that's worth
