Not much has changed. 8 teams took a QB already so the list i posted above is still in play. If the remaining 9 owners follow the ADP queue, Cousins would be available.

The rookies are the wildcards imo, not sure if people will take on the risk of the unknown vs low ceiling, "safer" plays

There's also the possibility of streaming guys like Baker, Stafford, Geno to start if the rest of your lineup is rocking. Then pluck a better QB from a team that gets the axe

My leaguemates can be unpredictable. I think his Achilles injury will scare some away. And this is a Bears fanbase, so i figure Caleb goes at some point.

My backup plan is to take Rodgers. Jets open against WSH, CAR and the Giants.
Think you could be right. The fact he just suffered a Achilles injury and will be 36 in August should plant some doubt. New team who just hired a new Head Coach, new OC and are installing a entirely new offensive system makes it hard to judge how things will work out, especially year one . If not, the fact that his receiver corp is likely a downgrade to what he had with the Viking should be the straw that allows you to wait to draft him and besides still plenty of decent options available.

Well, my 18-team guillotine plans fell apart in round 5 and snaking into round 6.
Thought thered be a run on QB or WR since some teams only have 1 or 2....
But some are filling their flex with a 3rd RB. (I only have Harris.) Brian Robinson Jr is still on the board but the way things are shaping up i may need help.

There are some playable RB like Ford and Hubbard who will probably have prominent roles week 1. But who knows if they'll even be there?

who cares... if you survive week 1 and 2, more RBs will come available as the season goes, whether it is because less teams, or if it is normal waiver wire running backs...

elite WRs are going to be harder to find until there is basically no teams left...

I'm agreeing with Milk here, get someone serviceable to fill your RB2 spot to start the season and focus your waiver priorities on that position as teams get chopped

I'm guessing guys like Moss, Spears, Z.White, Singletary are all gone now?

You could do a lot worst than to grab him. .... not that WAS goes deep into playoffs (if at all) but Ekeler sure looked washed to me last yr. ..

It is true that I mistakenly traded for ekeler in D1. Was totally convinced that I was trading for kamara.

But I think it is a big mistake to think he is washed up. We as fantasy owners do this all the time, we chase last year. Usually this is us overranking players who had great seasons last year, like kyren Williams. But we do the same with the opposite.

Sure, he very well can continue looking slower and older. But new team, new everything, assuming he will be a bust is just gonna hurt you.

I have him as an easy buy low. Or in drafts, players like that are what I love to draft at their current values, because they have showed how elite they can be.

You are correct sir.
11 picks before it get to me.
Lots of teams need WR and QB.
This is part of whats left of the RB:

Him and/or BRob easily the top 2 for week 1 volume imo. I think BRob has a solid grip on WAS backfield for this season

Disagree about Robinson. Again I think ekeler will have a huge role. And will be there rb 1. But I might be on an island on that

But either way. Ford is the safest thing in this range. Great offensive line.

Take a look at that list. Robinson all the way.

Unless I'm the one on the island. In that case, I need cake.

I am nervous about Robinson. Like I said I think ekeler is going to be just fine. Which pushes Robinson to the teams number 2. Early on too.

Ekeler has become a dark horse, imo. We'll see what we see.

Rookie qb is going to check down like crazy. And if ekeler gets hot hand then he is off for the running.

Read an interesting take essentially saying that Kingsbury favors a no-huddle offense and if Robinson is on the field for 1st and 2nd down work, he may be staying on the field more under Kingsbury's scheme.
