I believe with a quicker thinker in the pocket the offensive line players the Rams seem to be confident in may finally surprise us all including Corbett Allen Demby and Edwards.

Not sure if it was as much a quick thinking issue as it was at identifying the defense.

Stafford just may recognize defenses and disguises as good as McVay, or even better who knows

But I'm not sure if Goff even knew what to do once McVay told him his thoughts on what the defense was trying to do or disguise.

Or maybe you, and I are both right.

At any rate Pops always said...... Think Long, Think Wrong!

Sure it was on the Links when addressing the ball, but it translates....

There will be a vast noticeable difference in how Goff ran the offense as opposed to how Stafford will run it.

If that pass to Kupp is any indication of the accuracy of Stafford, we may have made the right move to trade for Stafford.

Who needs Julio Jones when you have a guy like Kupp pulling down one-handers like in the vid by BattleLyon and getting both feet in for the TD!

Geez Louise that was awesome!!

The catch was amazing. The throw perfect.

but why is he throwing into such a tight window that really has very low completion rate?

ive watched a lot of video on Stafford and he seems to do that a lot

he misses the easy open completion and tries to thread the needle elsewhere because he does have the big arm.

Maybe McVay and the QB coach will work on the other you suggested, Maybe. Perhaps they are practicing that type of short narrow window so they'll be prepared for such scenarios in the games ahead. Maybe!

Hope so Retro

but if you look at his highlights from last season, you will see a lot of tight window throws. Of course, these are highlights do it shows the completed ones, not the incompletions and INT’s that resulted from similar throws.

thankfully, Woods and Kupp are 2 of the best at getting open, so maybe that helps.

but Stafford does miss the RB out of the backfield a lot from what I’ve seen and that needs to change in McVay’s system.

That "practice man" quote coming from a douchebag who ended his career playing basketball in literally BumF**k Egypt or China somewhere, Vita. Not exactly an individual who has ANY input into the reality of the Rams practice or any practice for that matter. LOL!

meh, I've always liked the guy

Achieving what he did at 6 foot even, and what? A Buck Sixty Five?

Dude was Badass!

Just thought the 'quote' was fitting, and funny for the convo.

It was good to see Matt & Coop connecting, even if it was just in Practice.

Yea, BattleLyon. That ranking is like the 32 coaches worst-to-first ranking on a Yahoo article floating around. A lot of it is a subjective summation based on an algorithm to satisfy all the info-junkies who sit all day in their mommy and daddy's basement getting a stiffing over such krap.

And that’s the difference between a guy who skated on talent, and a Michael or Kobe, who tirelessly practiced and worked out to get better than they already were.

Nah, that quote was taken out of context. AI was frustrated at the line of questioning given that he was still having trouble dealing with his friend's murder while feuding with Coach Brown. It wasn't about not caring about practice, it was about bigger things in his life being more important than nitpicking about what happened in a practice.
