No replacement for Skip Pete as RBs coach either. Rumors have the Rams going after the RBs coach from Dallas that Ezekiel said made him a great player.

I like these hires, McVay needed to make sure he got guys on the same page with him for the vision of this team. If your tendencies begin to show, opponents will figure it out. Scheming needs to happen on a week to week basis, stay unpredictable.

It is fairly hypocritical of genuis boy to demand consistency from everyone else and then demonstrate the very opposite all of last year in his offense and his team. If genuis boy is really concerned about consistency, he should start with his offense. He doesn't have to change his explosive offense. Just add the the Jumbo as the base offense and use his passing game as an option.

Start with getting a big-ass FB in this year's draft and run the I with Gurley as the tailback. Then pass out of it. When teams shut down the pass, then you can go to the run out of the I and the Jumbo and run the defenses down to then open the passing game again. This isn't aeronautical engineering here. This is being smart which McVay was touted as being. Imagine our offense adding the Jumbo as the base O!

Peete and Fassel's replacements have not been found yet. My guess is McVay is going to leave that up to the new OC in Peete's case and he'll find Fassel's replacement.

Yea BattleLyon and we were once one of the top feared deep ball threats in the league until that Chicago game last year.

Skip Peete signs with the Cowboys as the Caboys now have two ex-Rams coaches.

There are ten FAs associated with the new OC Kevin O'Connell. The only one worth mentioning and should be considered is Guard Brandon Scherff. Otherwise the Rams should focus on the top O-lineman in this year's draft which is Houston's Josh Jones who is first round talent that may slip to us in the second.

True Red. Sooner or later, this giving away first round draft picks nearly every year is going to severely hinder the progress of the team long-term.

The rumors I am seeing is that the Rams are not quite settled on re-signing Whitworth and if they can get a guy like Trey Adams from Washington in the draft, who is a near replica of Whitworth, the Rams will probably pull a Sullivan and Saffold routine and just not offer Whitworth anything. He'll then walk. The Rams then will re-shuffle their O-line to keep Blythe at Center (re-signing him with a slight raise) keep Corbett at LG, move Noteboom (depending on his recovery process) to LT and keep Edwards and Evans in their respective positions from 2019. Then the Rams will add a number of O-lineman in the draft and maybe one in FA.

Not to worry, Goff will be just fine.

Jared Goff’s strong finish a good sign for 2020
These were Goff's metrics in the Rams final five games of 2019:

7.8 AY/A (adjusted yards gained per passing attempt)

5.1 TD%

1.9 INT%

98.2 Rating

Compare those categories to what he did in his Pro Bowl seasons of 2017-18:

8.5 AY/A

5.8 TD%

1.8 INT%

100.8 Rating

Hardly a dire discrepancy.

"In fact, from Weeks 12-17, Goff ranked eighth in the NFL in AY/A, comfortably ahead of peers like Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, and Deshaun Watson, just to name a few"

Not to mention their redzone td percentage balloon down the stretch

Amazing stats. Too bad Goff sucked outside the red zone. Wonder how many of those were red zone garbage TDs down 10+ points ?

I can shape stats to make my ass look great while I’m taking a shit

Yeah, I agree, he has a lot to prove. He is the one drive king, he looks hall of fame worthy on one drive a game

He’s like a Jekyll and Hyde. There’s a lot of times where the guy looks great and looks like a number one pick. Then there’s other times where he does the absolute dumbest thing possible where you wonder how he made it this far.
