Stafford is absolutely right in calling Kerby Joseph a dirty f**k because the final diagnoses shows that low hit tore both the ACL and the MCL, two of the big three. Higbee will go on the PUP list this summer and there is a high likelihood he will miss the entire 2024 season!! His career maybe over!

There was massive damage internally requiring surgery and it was amazing Higbee even got up and walked off the field. This Joseph is now a marked man.

Another guy the Rams should bring in is Marcus Peters who was released by the Raiders back three regular season games ago. He started with the Rams and he is still playing at a decent level.
Retro, Retro, Retro,
We had him before, while he makes some picks, he is a horrible tackler and as we know, we have enough guys that dont tackle now and he's much older now! And not a good team mate, I'll pass!!

...or he's the designated Rooney rule interview
Hate to watch his bend don't break approach, but the results were favorable. Still, Morris is far too talented for that... ah hum... 'designation'!

That Kyren kid is a keeper though and they may want to run more to preserve old man Stafford.
Since the first AZ game this season in LA after the 1st half, McVay has learned the value of running the ball in most aspects. He tends to get overly predictable with the pass inside the 10. IDK if he's trying to give love for bonuses or confidence to Stafford, but it's pass happy in these scenarios, and it kills me every time. He has this RB Williams getting 5 yards a carry the entire drive and we find the Rams with 3rd and 10's or goal and 4th and 10's or goal, the after 2 or 3 incompletes, we get Maher's 50/50 FG attempts. SMH!

Staley needs to be signed ASAP so that he can find a replacement for Henderson!
Not so hot on Staley, he had a lot of talent to work with that year and took a lot of it over to the Chargers, and we saw what happened there. Morris has done a premier job with the talent he had in 2023. I hope he has one more year as the Rams DC to continue to develop these young men.

Dan Campbell was on that bounty gate team
Also, we all hate to call foul when we lose and point to things of this nature, it's always a poor look. But if we look at the Goff roughing the passer and the no call roughing the passer late in the game on Stafford where he had to go into the tent, the Stafford hits were obviously more egregious.

The secondary pass rusher, who caused the damage to Stafford, came in way late and IMHO the first hit was close enough for arguments sakes to throw a flag but the second defender coming in left no doubt about a roughing the passer infraction since intent does not matter on roughing calls. It's either a roughing the passer or it is not. The pass was long gone by the time the secondary rusher hit Matt. I guess IMO it was just a late in the game, 3rd down swallow the whistle type of call to the refs.

I see helmet to helmet, the ball long gone after 2 steps...

then, a push by the left hand to the shoulder of Stafford for good measure causing head trauma.

Was he pushed into Stafford, yes, but by his own player.

Then on the 3rd and long on the Rams last drive, where Puka gets hit early and a no PI call, the secondary defender comes in on a defensive less receiver with a forearm to the helmet. It's also a high low hit with the ball long gone. Just another 3rd down late in the game no call, forget about the obvious PI, where's the player protections?

No protection for the WR, no protection for the QB and no NFL rules protection for the TE needing surgery on his ACL and MCL as the defender lowered his head and took the crown of his helmet directly to the plant leg knee.

Dirty as F*ck! All of them!

And where the NFL has made strides in all but the TE scenario, when it comes to the post season, the NFL is still guilty as F*ck IMO.

Any one play and I'd say that's just football, but these three standouts, lowering the crown of the helmet to the plant leg knee, a secondary late hit with an extra push on the shoulder as the QB goes to the ground, a forearm to the helmet of a defensive less WR after early contact and the ball long gone, cumulative are Bounty gate type of scenarios, however these are just the standouts.

I agree, he did great with us. We pitched 4 shut outs in the second halves this year. And held Detroit to 3 in the second half. With the amonut of talent we have on defense that is astounding. It's bad enough we lost Hanny.

I get to watch the Eagles a lot. Game after game, they try WR screens that never work. For some reason they keep trying thing thinking something good will magically happen. Seems like the Rams have the same problem with the fade inside the 10. Everyone knows its coming and it never works. McVay seems to think that if he keeps trying it, eventually it will work. So frustrating watch it over and over.

Looks like Belicheat is going to Atlanta to take the HC position job there. Kraft has lost his mind. Hires Jerrod Mayo as his new coach of the Patriots. First openly woke racist!! They deserve what they are getting.

Is he just part of teams fulfilling the Rooney rule, or are they really interested?

That is the question.
Agree, the rule is dumb. Lots of guys already have the guy they want in mind, yet they "have: to go through the motions of this BS rule!!

Jared Goff is adding layers of you were wrong to McShitferBrains. McVay is a good coach and his approach is laudable but he is not infallible. Look how long it has taken McShitferBrains to accept the major tenet of the NFL that running the ball and defense wins championships. Going into 8 years and McShitferBrains still has problems believing that tenet especially in the RedZone. Goff has come into his own while McShitferBrains still has some evolving to do.
