I like the Rams to cover the spread but think the Lions win by a FG in a really good game.

The Lions added a lot of new players....it will pay off in the long run but it may take time for them all to get comfortable in their roles.

Well, McShitferbrains got rid of some players he should not have and then the Twins signed a couple of aging, injury-prone players on the O-line and in the Secondary and now they have the second youngest Roster in the NFL. So maybe we will see a closer game.

My personal favs would be Devon White and Josey Jewell. Oops, looks like White signed with the Iggles. Jordyn Brooks is available and for a little more money, the Rams could bring back Bobby Wagner.

Why are we talking about guys that aren't available? Jewell is a Panther, Brooks is a Dolphin, Wagner is a Commander, Queen is a Steeler. Alexander tore his Achilles week 10 last year. Cunningham, sure. Guys that are still available as the season starts are typically washed or want too much money.

Avila may have a Grade 3 MCL strain and could be out up to 6 weeks. So, time for Logan Bruss to be added to the play mix. Limmer will def stay at Center and Jackson at Guard but Bruss will be back-up.

Also looks like Puka is going to IR with a "PCL sprain", though I hope through more testing that isn't so... It was a non contact injury which always seems to be the worst.

I feel like we could do ok without Nakua as long as Kupp stays healthy, but losing Avila really sucks!!!

Yep, I agree LTRF. Avila was a big loss. We have some replacements that are decent though because we can go with Jackson at Left Guard taking Avila's spot with Limmer at the center spot because he is too good not to play, and Bruss will move into the Right guard spot if Dotson has to sit for awhile.

Then the Rams will probably bring in some back-up depth replacements as needed. Hopefully it will be Bakhtiari in the tackle spot since McDermott is already on IR and maybe a FA Guard like Lemieux. The FA supply with the Guards are much slimmer than tackle and the Rams may have to go with their youngster Larson on the PS as a back-up.

Is it related? His camp injury was a bursa sac deal. This is a ligament strain.

Do you know anything about the tissue milieu affect of the human knee in the progression of an injury that would support what I stated? Or are you that stupid?? Also, the camp injury included inflammation and a slight sprain of the ligaments that increased in weakness contributing to the injury sustained Sunday night. Much of that complete analysis was not released to the sports media.
