Overreaction IMO, it's precautionary due to some hamstring tightness.

Would Tannehill be a better backup? Absolutely. He also is likely waiting for an injury to get a starting job, not just accept a backup position with no chance to overtake the starter and waiting around for an injury. He's probably looking for more money that the Rams spent on reserve QBs (and maybe more that their available cap space).

I think some of the suggestions on final roster presented by this author may change with reality especially with the O-lineman. McDermott may supplant Alaric Jackson at LT, at some point. He is a better LT than Jackson. Also Carlos Watkins may be added to the D-line rotation.

I don't blame a guy for adding Tomlinson to his name since his unc played in the league but just because you have the name doesn't mean you have the same type of play. I'm sure unc wouldn't approve of the bone head penalties over and over. Safe to say he needs to go.

The consensus is that Thomlinson is out the door. The dumbass keeps making too many errors primarily because he thinks he is beyond reproach somewhat due to the fact he has a famous NFL Uncle. Dumbass doesn't get it that unless you earn your roster spot by playing well, you will get shown the door PDQ.

I'm not sure I would dump him yet, just demote him and make him earn his way up the ladder. Maybe that drives the point home.

You could show the basics, but none of these teams are really showing their strategy on kickoffs. Many still result in a kick boomed into the endzone to minimize preseason injuries.

Garrett Bolles has been an OT the Rams could use but I suppose since they signed McDermott, they won't be looking for a OT for awhile.
