Hopefully 3rd kicker is the charm. Mason Crosby is supposed to sign to the practice squad today. Most likely elevated by Sunday.

Hope he's in game shape (whatever that means for a kicker), hasn't been in a game all season. I suppose he won't need to handle kickoffs, so less worries there...

Nope, Evans booms the KOs. All Mason Crosby has to do is don't miss extra points, EVER, and nail FGs between 50 and 55 yards out!

Thirty-nine year old kicker Mason Crosby goes to the PS. He doesn't have to do KOs as Evans will do that. If he can consistently hit the 50 yarders, the Rams will keep him and cut Havrisik. If Crosby can't, Crosby will go and the Rams will finish the year with Havrisik and Forestall will be back on the PS.

He was 1 for 4 on 50+ yard FG’s last season.

We will be holding our breath every time he attempts one.

Based on the low number of attempts, I would guess they don't try many from that range. Could be going for it on 4th more often...

Goff had a not so good day last week but the Lions still won because the Lions are a good team. The Rams are not a good team yet, When they are, Stafford will look like the all pro that he is. So lets not chase him and McVay out of LA. At least I'm not ready to. Looking at the schedule the Rams could sneak into the playoffs and after last season that would be awesome.

Good chance if we sneak in and get the 2nd wildcard we will play the Lions

This Ravens game debacle exposed two of our dire needs: Two new O-line tackles and two new safeties. More evidence for drafting a First Round Tackle over a QB.

they did.. but our defenders made it worse by missing every opportunity to tackle him...make the tackle...we don't have this problem... call the fucking time out on 3rd and 4, we don't have this problem.... dont play soft zone on 3rd and 17 after a sack.... we won't have this problem..

I still have no idea why you don't take a time out in OT vs. 5 yard penalty. I understand that in the 1st quarter you take the 5 yards, but in OT, WTF?

I didn't see tackle play as a big issue yesterday? Right tackle was down to the backup due to a hip injury for Havenstein. Rams ran well and Stafford was only sacked twice, definitely not as glaring as some just baffling secondary gaffes and the inability to corral Lamar (but not many can).

Kendrick has to go, and the Rams need safety help as well. Definitely need another pass rusher opposite Young. Havenstein will need a replacement soon, sure. Upgrade at LT is always a positive as well.

That said, needs are for free agency and the draft is to add talent and building depth IMO.

The refs missed an obvious block in the back on the punt return TD.

...and multiple holding penalties on the Ravens' line. How many times did I see Donald in a bear hug or pulled jerseys? The refs took most of that game off, only calling dead ball penalties and personal fouls it seemed.

And Shopson, the refs also missed two glaring block-in-the-back-missed-calls on the punt-for-a-TD in overtime. But the Rams lost the game on these 9 mistakes they could have easily won with except for McShitferBrains glaring stupidity and the players associated mistakes! Check it out!!
