that is a stupid article, the only value like you mentioned is Suh and Callahan, and maybe Young if we are talking about swapping 5th/6th round picks. Chase Young, we seen what he can do and pair him with Donald , and Young and we could have a nice little trio to bridge the gap. Guy had a decent 1st yr, been hurt a bunch but maybe a change in scenary is what's needed. Remember Floyd, Fowler?? In addition he is only 25yrs old and would give us a bit of "umph" at the LB spot that way we can move HOecht back to DT where he fucking belongs. Young, Jones, Young. Not a bad look?

Another wasted draft pick by the Rams brass.

Now, just about everyone who lauded the Rams for taking that Fourth Round pick of Stetson Bennett have changed their collective minds and now see Bennett as a wasted pick and a complete bust.

The dude doesn't have the body to withstand the rigors of an NFL season, the same exact reason they held Atwell basically out of playing for two seasons.

In Bennett's case many of those same pundits believe the dude is a complete head case and does not have the mental acumen and toughness to handle the QB position over an entire season.

Once again, the ShitferBrains twins are being discovered to be very poor judges of NFL talent and their drafts to be consistently horrible as now many of the regular sports pundits are calling for the removal and cutting of another wasted draft pick, one Derion Kendrick!! Pity...

Yeah, not to upset about this lol. His only advantage is familiarity with the system, so he could be ready quickly if needed.

The only viable practice squad QBs I see out there are Sean Mannion (Vikes, likely to get elevated this week with Cousins' injury) and Trevor Siemian (Jets). The rest are young, unproven, late round picks (if drafted at all).

It seems Stafford's injury is minor and could still play this week (considered day to day I believe?), but the Rams still need to find a 3rd QB if Bennett is indeed unavailable this year. Wentz, McCoy, Ryan, Foles, and our old friend(?) Bryce Perkins are what's out there for free agents. EJ Perry played in the USFL, has at least played recently.

Of all those, I would at least claim Siemian. Perkins will probably be the guy, since they already tried to get Wolford for familiarity with the offense.

Travis Rogers said it best. The Rams are done for this year. Stafford is hurt and his UCL sprain ain't gonna heal for at least a month. Ya can't throw a football without your throwing hand thumb.

If ya send Stafford out there and he gets his thumb hit again, ya run the risk of tearing the UCL and then it is surgery and his year and possibly next year is done as well.

Let Rypien take over. Bring in one of the available stiffs and shoot for 2024.
