Some of the FAs are left to walk not only due to our cap hell but the new coaches are not pleased with their respective personnel. Cases in point: Kicker Gayboy, and Orzech the long snapper. The new STs coach wants to change directions. Also, the Rams did re-sign Shelton to a new deal but they had better have one helluva a draft to fill in all of the holes they now have. Nick Scott was one guy in the secondary I thought the Shitferbrains twins would bring back but maybe they are thinking of re-signing John Johnson.

Yep. Nick Scott I thought for sure was coming back but Aubrey Pleasant has been rehired and he will be involved with the secondary. Gone are Scott and the Bengals and Patriots are talking with Taylor Rapp, Mr Confusion. I suspect the Rams may re-sign Gaines though.

Nick Scott is gone. Signs with the Bengals! The Rams only have $11 mil to spend, so they are going to move as much salary weight as possible. Many of our unsigned FAs will come back under less money. It is quite evident the Rams are going with rooks and UDFAs this year. The Rams have the third highest dead money this year in $51.6 mil.The STs coach from the Panthers may convince his kicker to come to the Rams. We shall see who eventually fills the 50% of a roster that is not signed yet.

If it means building for a longer window to get to more Super Bowls, I’m okay with it. I mean, we all did survive a lot of really awful football during the Martz, Linehan, Spagnuolo and Fisher era’s.

F them picks and signing stars to huge contracts eventually comes back to bite you.

You can only kick the can down the road for so long.

That’s what makes what the Pats did so impressive ( aside from the cheating that helped along the way ). They avoided the ridiculous contracts, and traded those that were set to get paid for great draft picks to retool.

The Rams went the opposite direction and it resulted in the SB victory, but is not sustainable.

The problem is what pieces do we have to build off of?

It is quite clear the Rams are planning for 2024. They rid themselves of large contracts by not re-signing many FAs. A-Rob is heading to New York. This means we will see alot of second and third year players under contract thus year in the field, all the draftees, and a host of UDFAs like Mafia for example.

The Rams would do themselves a favor by drafting Caljiah Kansey, DT, University Pittsburgh, supposedly the next AD!

We’ll actually have all of our draft picks (as of this moment I believe) in 2024 and a lot of cap space to play with if we want to sign some free agents. Those two things are a good start.

Really sucks losing Gaines.

Draft him, develop him, and then lose him because they don’t know how to manage the cap well.

AD is going to be triple teamed every game next season, and he is going to wish he retired because there is nodody else to rush the passer outside of him.

Just pathetic of this FO to do this to the team.

Paying record money for a PK is never a good plan.

Rams do have a lot of picks, but can they identify the proper talent and fits? Remains to be seen.

Certainly has the build and style, maybe the poor man's AD? Couldn't hurt to learn from the man himself, but I think he's most likely a first round pick.

I saw that 7 or 8 guys that played 50% of the snaps on defense are gone. Is there a plan, any plan, to replace that? 3 corners and 2 safeties is an alful lot to lose.
