The Panthers rejected a trade offer for star pass-rusher Brian Burns that would have netted Carolina two first-round draft picks, sources told ESPN.

Well, the Rams offered more, but the fact they didn’t have a 4th this coming draft was the killer.

And, apparently, the 9ers wanted nothing to do with Akers.

Think that shows you what kind of value he has that offering him could’ve get the deal done.

Rams will be lucky to get anything for him. Likely to just release him.
