So the Rams put Hardy on the temp IR and he'll miss the first 4 games. He had to be added to the active roster in order to qualify for the temp IR otherwise the Rams would have had to place him on the season-ending IR if they cut him and hoped he would clear waivers. So, this means Garrett will be brought back to the active 53-man roster or the PS. The next day or two will be critical for Garrett to return to the Rams in that he will have to clear waivers which is expected.

The Raiders cut last's year overall 17th pick in the First Round, OT, ex-Alabama dude, Alex Leatherwood. The Rams should put in a bid ASAP.

The Las Vegas Raiders are moving on from Alex Leatherwood after just one season. Las Vegas is waiving the 2021 first-round pick and has also traded former second-round pick Trayvon Mullen to the Cardinals.

Rams are interested in a some Guard that was cut by the Cardinals, Seahawks, and most recently the Chargers-Oday Abushi. Funny last name. Read an article about him (included below). Appraently McShit-fer-Brains like players whose names start with "O" as in Odell Bekahm Jr. All Abushi has to do is wlak across the hall.

Leatherwood was not on the Rams radar apparently, same as Kenyan Drake. AS usual, they missed-out on two players who could have helped the Rams in the long-term. Leatherwood has a rep of being slow and lazy and he was routinely getting beat for sacks. He was getting increasingly worse. McDaniels, who is a protege of Belicheat, didn't like that and got rid of him. Drake just went to Baltimore because the Ravens called him. Rams did nothing!

Yep here is a comprehensive list of the 2022 Rams Practice Squad. It is nearly everyone the Rams cut in the final cutdown. There are 17 players on the list because of the NFL's international development program which is Max Pircher from Italy. Other than that, everyone else is on it. So basically Haley and Harris were exempted because of injuries, but all three Carter's are there, Arcuri, Isom, Ragas, Garcia, etc.

Well the Rams did nothing with Michel but he is back in LA only Staley and the Chargers signed him. Makes sense.

It’s a good thing several teams reached for other players in that draft that allowed Donald to be available at #13.

Otherwise, the Rams FO was going to draft Robinson and Manziel with their 1st round picks.

The two names not on the PS that everyone thought the Rams were going to bring back are Chris Garrett and Jack Snyder. Both are gone. This article suggests that the Rams thought Garrett was not a player they could develop so they let him go. He may come back later but not now. Snyder was the other guy that was projected to return but he too was not brought back. They went with familiar guys in Kolone, Brewer, Pircher (international development program) and the new guy Arcuri.

Well, nobody claimed Chris Garrett or Jack Snyder so the Rams can sign one or both players at any time. I am sure we will see both at some point similar to what transpired with Jonah Williams who was brought back three times last year after being claimed by the Vikings and then released twice by the Rams before he came back for good and is now a member of the active 53-man roster. The Rams did not received an award on any player this year either even if they did place a claim.

None of the players cut by the Rams on Tuesday were claimed off waivers. Los Angeles also did not claim any outside players.

AS we all know, Hardy goes on the temp IR. He'll be gone for at least a month. Taking his place on the 53-man active roster is unknown at this point. Don't know if the Rams are bringing back Garrett or Snyder to take the place of whoever they move to the 53-man roster or if the Rams bring in another player. Probably some moves will appear in the next couple of days.
